“In being a surgeon, you save people’s lives. Without the help you give them, they could die. You can turn someone’s worst day into a new day of life!”
Alec’s resume full of colorful accomplishments- Certified Emergency Medical Responder, President of Mercy Flights, President of Future Business Leaders of America, President of National Honors Society, current GPA of 4.067, and has volunteered at more than 14 JCF community service events. This student’s resume is impressive at the very least and he still has another year of high school to go. For his senior year Alec has developed a selfless community service project that provides various health screenings for low income individuals in the county and he plans on implementing this free health clinic next year before he graduates with the help of Josephine County Foundation!
The Josephine County Foundation is very lucky to have this great individual in our nonprofit, this year Alec has become one of three students on our Board and he has learned and grown so much. Thank you for taking the time to read about this esteemed student and his accomplishments thus far in his life, keep an eye for his success in the future!
“People don’t like to watch others suffer. They don’t like to see the pain and reality that life forcefully offers; however, it is rare to see anyone do anything to stop it. I chose the perfect career path where people do everything they possibly can to stop the misfortunes placed on others. I don’t like to watch others suffer, so I’m going to do everything in my power to help them.”
