The 4th Quarter JCF Student of the Month is Ryan Wilson! Ryan is a senior at Hidden Valley High School, HVHS JCF Representative, and a Project Leader.
Ryan started a new JCF project in his 8th-grade year before he ever stepped on the campus of his high school. He created Project Giveback—giving school supplies to needy students in any community or country that needs them. His round of supplies went to Guatemala. A total of 200-pounds of various new and used supplies arrived in time to help out students at a small, remote school.
“My greatest accomplishment was shipping the school supplies to Guatemala,” said Wilson.
Ryan, who plans on attending Oregon State as a business major, gives advice to future students (hopefully JCF students).
“If you see something wrong do not just sit back and watch,” said Ryan about community service. “Step up and do something about it. Because of JCF, it was a great place to learn how to make great change and grow as a person.”
